Clutter Awareness Week

This week is also . . .

Clutter Awareness Week

Clutter is stuff in your life that doesn't serve a real purpose.  Clutter is also postponed decision making.

For some, clutter accumulates because you think you might need it someday (that "someday" rarely comes).  For others it's easier to let it pile up than to make the hard decisions.  Some people even have plans or projects for their clutter (those projects rarely get completed).  Regardless of the reason(s) people have clutter -- CLUTTER causes STRESS!  The good news -- you don't have to be a victim anymore!

Most of you are probably fully aware of your clutter and don't need an Official Week to notice that you're house needs some decluttering!  However, these National Weeks provide a reminder that there's an opportunity to take the time to think about how clutter affects your life.  You don't have to be a victim of clutter anymore.  Doing something about your clutter means learning new habits and behaviors that help you get and stay organized.  Need help?  Ask a friend or family member to help you.  If you don't have anyone to help you or you prefer to have a professional help you then seek out a Professional Organizer.  Professional Organizers can help you declutter quickly, efficiently and discreetly.  A good organizer knows what works and what doesn't.  For these reasons, many people prefer the specialized skills and training that a Professional Organizer has to offer.  Just as you feel consult a doctor, lawyer, financial planner, auto mechanic, personal trainer, etc., you can feel confident turning to a Professional Organizer for reliable, skilled and confidential help if you're having trouble getting or staying organized.  There's no substitute for being guided by an expert in the field who will calmly help you without judgment, provide you with motivation and keep you focused and on track.

Why haven't you started decluttering?
