Did you know that there is a week dedicated to procrastination? This week is National Procrastination Week (yes, it's real) & I’ve been putting off writing about it for 2 days. This week is a good time to think about why we procrastinate and whether we’re sabotaging ourselves by putting off important tasks. After all, procrastinating can lead to major stress, late nights, and missed opportunities.
Why do you put things off? Is it too overwhelming, are you a perfectionist, or do you just not know where to start. This week is a good time to get some things done that you have just been putting off.
Maybe this week you should start your day off with the things that you procrastinate worst on. Then the rest of your day will be a breeze. Or how about committing 15 minutes a day working on an organizing project. Before you know it your project will be completed!
