Simplify Your Life ~ School planners

Did you know that getting your kids in the habit of having a planner makes for successful students?  Many school districts are issuing school planners to all the students & integrate the use of their planners into their school day.  We all know that their school issued planners don't come with sturdy plastic covers.  Every year I put my kid's planners into a 1" 3 ring binder.  Not only will it help keep the planner together in one piece after a month, it will also give you a place to hold any papers that come home or homework.  The built-in storage pockets help organize homework, permission slips, or school notes.  You can also add a zipper pouch in the front for lunch money, pencils, pens, or post it notes.

How do you keep your kid's planner neat & organized?
