Clean Up Your Room Day! This holiday is celebrated every May 10th. Clean Up Your Room Day is a special spring cleaning day. Kids may dread it but parents eagerly await this day! Make it a family holiday. Mentally preparing your children each year for this day can only work for you.
Kids (and parents) are supposed to tackle their bedrooms & spring clean away! Now is a great time to teach your children to get rid of unused items, go through winter/spring clothes & donate them to a local charity or friends/family. So get to removing those stray cups, dishes etc & put them in the kitchen sink! Make sure to dust, mop and vacuum. Try to have each bedroom clean before it's time for bed. Its time for everyone to clean your rooms!
Note to Kids: Clean Up Your Room Day also applies to your parents. You may want to inspect to assure that mom and dad practice what they preach!
Note to Parents: Today is great day to change your kid's sheets.
