Spring Cleaning - Make a plan

No one wants to spring clean.  Not only is it a great time to deep clean your house, but I think it's a great time to declutter & organize.  The hardest part of spring cleaning has to be deciding where to begin!

Begin with a plan of action:

Create an action plan by assigning different tasks to family members.  (Some things you might need a professional for)  Make sure to set a reward for everyone for a job well done.  Hold a family meeting to come up with the plan, as well as, fun rewards that will inspire everyone!

To help the family with your spring cleaning, print out a checklist (Click here - lists are on the right hand side).  Each room-by-room list contains tasks, suggestions for who can best handle each task (adult, child or professional), tool and product recommendations, helpful tips—and even some of our favorite articles on related topics.  Tape each list to the door of the room you're cleaning and check off tasks as they are completed.

I handed this spring cleaning packet out at the Stratford Vendor Expo.  I hope everyone finds it helpful (for those of you that spring clean).

Happy Spring Cleaning!
