National Clean Off Your Desk Day

This would be a great time to not only clean off your desk, but to also gather up all your paperwork, receipts, etc. for your taxes.  Here are a few tips to get you going on cleaning up and organizing your desk:
R — Remove candy and knick knacks
E – Everyday Use. If you do not use it every day, take it off your desktop.
M – Move to the preferred side.
O – Organize Together. Organize similar items together.
V – View your Time. Keep your calendar/planner on your desk so you can see your schedule.
E – Empty the center of the desk. This is your work area.

Don’t get overwhelmed!  Also, if you have too many supplies return them to the supply closet.  Don’t have enough supplies then now is a good time to replenish.  Don’t forget you're drawers!

National Clean Off Your Desk Day will help you get a jump start on the new year with a clean, organized desk top!  It's the perfect opportunity to seize the chance to go through your desk, clean it off and organize it for future work.  I hope this has been helpful.  Remember if you need help organizing your office, kitchen, bedroom, basement or your receipts for tax time please don’t be embarrassed to contact me for any of your Organizing needs.  I'm always here to help!

Happy Clean Off Your Desk Day!
